ORDER

Seeking to call for the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.06/Police Inspector /K.Na.Ni/Pudukkottai /2026 dated 10.02.2026 and quash the same and further direct the 3rd respondent to grant appropriate permission and adequate police protection to conduct public agitation on 02.03.2026 considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2026, this Criminal Revision case is fired.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that by way of the impugned order, the petitioner's earlier representation seeking to conduct a public agitation on 02.03.2026 was rejected. However, the respondent police, having rejected the petitioner's application, had given permission for certain other organizations to conduct 2/5

protests in the same location and hence, sought the indulgence of this Court by setting aside the impugned order.

3. The learned Government Advocate Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar submitted that the representation made by the petitioner is bereft of the details as to the nature of the protest and the total number of participants who are proposed to participate in the same and other necessary details.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the respondent police by giving necessary details as to the name of the organization, number of participants who are likely to participate in the organization, time of the proposed protest, and other necessary details within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the 3rd respondent police is directed to pass appropriate orders, positively permitting the petitioner to conduct a protest if otherwise the application is in 3/5

order. If the place where the petitioners proposed to conduct the agitation is not feasible, the petitioners will be given an opportunity to conduct the same in an alternate place.
