O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to grant permission to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 29.04.2018, 01.05.2018, 02.05.2018 and 06.05.2018 the eve of " Chithira Thiruvila " to Sri Muthumariamman Temple situated at Ottankadu Village, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District in pursuant to the petition dated 24.04.2018. 2.Heard Mr.D.R.Murugesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is made clear that the "Adal Padal" programme shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
