The petitioner has filed this writ petition for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission and protection for cultural event viz., Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 06.05.2018 and 07.05.2018 at night 8.00 to 12.00 hours in connection with "Chithirai Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Muthumariamman Temple at Kurichi Village, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2018. .
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that if the petitioner makes a fresh representation before the respondents, the same will be considered in the light of the order passed by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
this Court in WP(MD)No.7043 of 2018, on 02.04.2018.
4. Considering the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, it is open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the second respondent. If any such representation is received, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, by taking note of the order passed by this Court in WP(MD)No.7043 of 2018 dated 02.04.2018.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
