This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to grant permission for cultural event namely Aadalpadal scheduled to be held on 29.05.2018 at night in connection with "Sevvai Pongal Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Muthumariamman Temple at Vetriyalankulam Village, Periyakarai Via, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2018. 2.Heard Mr.J.M.Jaya Karthick, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the

petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is made clear that the "Aadalpadal" programme shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
