ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the Respondent Police to file the 1/4

Final Report in connection with the criminal case registered in Crime No. 304 of 2021 on his file before the concerned court within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.304 of 2021 and that the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks six months time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.304 of 2021 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
