PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to survey and to earmark the four boundaries as per the petitioner's application No.20250113004665 dated 13.01.2025 in respect of the petitioner's property situated in comprising of 1.89.50 Ares located in Yoganayaki Puram, Orathanadu Post, Thanjavur District with the assistance of the third respondent and give adequate protection for fencing the same based on the sale deed Doc.No.295/1993 dated 08.06.1993 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2025.

Considering the limited relief that has been sought for in the Writ Petition, with the consent of the learned Counsel on both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner based on registered sale deed in his favour and also patta having been mutated in his name, made an application 2/5

for survey of his property on 13.01.2025. He has followed it up with a representation dated 13.02.2025. The petitioner only seeks the said application for survey being disposed of.

3.Considering the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to conduct the survey based on the petitioner's application dated 13.01.2025, after hearing the objections of the fifth respondent, if any. The second respondent shall also make a request to the fourth respondent police officials in the event of requiring any police protection at the time of survey. The fourth respondent on being requested by the second respondent shall ensure availability of sufficient police force to avoid any breach of peace at the time of survey. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
