O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to grant permission to conduct Kalai Sudar Nadana Nikalchi on 03.05.2018 at 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. in the eve of "Chithirai Thiruvila" to Sri Pattalai Eswari Amman Temple situated at Kongapatti, Povorpatti Post, Ottanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District in pursuant to the representation dated 25.04.2018. 2.Heard Mr.P.Mahendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is made clear that the "Kalai Sudar Nadana Nikalchi" programme shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
