This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to grant permission to perform Dance Programme (Aadal Padal) at 03.05.2018 night at about 06.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. in the festival event of "Sri Maariyamman Kovil" situated at Kovilpapakudi, Pothumbu Post, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District pursuant to the representation dated 23.04.2018. 2.Heard Mr.J.Senthil Kumaraih, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is made clear that the "Dance Programme (Aadal Padal)" programme shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
