This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 25.06.2018 at night 08.00 p.m., to 12.00 a.m., hours in connection with "Aani Festival"in Arulmigu Sri Mariamman, Sri Kaliamman Thirukovil at Pampattipatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

the respondents would submit that the application shall be submitted only by the trustees of the Temple or the committee of the Vizha Kuzhuvinar or the organizers of the festival committee before the concerned respondent police. In the case on hand, the petitioner is the representative of the village and filed the present writ petition.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. No costs.
