ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and police protection to celebrate temple festival of 'Aathimarakathamayan' which is scheduled to be held on 14.04.2019 at Viralimayanpatty, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the representation dated 30.03.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate submits that the jurisdiction rests with Vilampatti Police Station and if the petition is presented before the Vilampatti Police Station, a favorable decision can be taken.

4. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before the Vilampatti Police Station, who shall consider and pass such appropriate orders in the manner this Court generally directs the Inspector in granting permission. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
