Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to sanction incentive increment to the petitioners for the higher qualification of M.Sc., Zoology by considering the petitioners' representations dated 13.04.2015 and 16.06.2015 respectively and the reminders dated 27.01.2016 and 11.03.2019 respectively.

COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to sanction incentive increment to the petitioners for the higher qualification of M.Sc., Zoology, by considering their representations dated 11.03.2019.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent. By consent, the writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.The case of the petitioners is that as per G.O.Ms.No.97, P & AR Department, dated 05.07.2010, they are entitled to get incentive increment for their higher qualification of M.Sc., (Zoology). Seeking such benefit, the petitioners made several representations and finally on 11.03.2019 to the respondent. Since no action is forthcoming till date, the petitioners are before this Court with these writ petitions for the aforementioned prayer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the representations of the petitioners would be considered on merits and appropriate orders be passed by the respondent.

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 11.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners.

6.The writ petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
