ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2018 and consequently direct the respondents to give conferment of permanent status to the petitioner's post under the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishment (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act, 1981 within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard both sides. By Consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, seeking conferment of permanent status on his employment, the petitioner made several representations to the respondents. have been considered so fart by the respondents and hence, he has approached this Court.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the respondents, on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's case, directs the respondents, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2018, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
