PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.12988/2024/E3 dated 07.02.2025 and quash the same.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a person who was successful in the auction, challenging the order of the first respondent herein dated 07.02.2025 wherein the auction conducted for the year 2024-2025 was cancelled.

2. The petitioner herein was successful bidder for putting up road side shops and slaughter house. The period for the said auction is from 02.09.2024 to 01.09.2025. However, on various grounds, the said auction in favour of the writ petitioner was cancelled by way of impugned proceedings dated 07.02.2025.

3. At the time of admission, this Court has granted interim order. The petitioner has enjoyed the interim order throughout his license period and the period is expired on 01.09.2025. In fact, the petitioner is enjoying the benefits of the licence beyond his license period for the past two months. 2/4

4. Considering the fact that the license period has already expired, nothing survives to be adjudicated in the writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
