ORDER

This petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and also the property comprised in S.No. 405/11 situated at Navalur Kuttapattu Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District, at the hands of the third respondent in the light of the judgment and decree dated 02.07.2025 passed in O.S.No.236 of 2025 on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Srirangam, Trichy District, and by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2026.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the land. The third respondent, who is his neighbour, has been repeatedly disturbing the petitioner's possession. Hence, the petitioner approached the civil Court and filed a suit in O.S. No.236 of 2025 on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Srirangam, Trichy District, seeking injunction. The learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Srirangam, Trichy District, granted a decree vide judgment dated 02.07.2025. As against the same, no appeal has been filed as on date. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent Police is directed to consider and grant police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, at the cost of the petitioner. Insofar as the police protection for the property is concerned, if the third respondent interferes with the petitioner's possession, the petitioner shall give a written complaint to the respondent police, upon which the police shall act in accordance with law.

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
