JUDGMENT

The appellant filed this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal to set aside the order, dated 18.09.2024 passed in E.C.No.34 of 2016 on the file of the Joint Commissioner of Labour Court, Tirunelveli and allow this appeal. 2/5

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (11.02.2026), both sides learned counsel submitted that the matter has been amicably settled before the Mediation. The Settlement Agreement has also been received from the Mediation Centre. The appellants as well as the respondents 1 to 4/Petitioners are present before this Court and they are identified by their respective counsel. The identity proof of the parties is also verified. Both parties submitted that they have settled the matter before the mediation for a sum of Rs.5,47,240/- (Rupees Five lakhs Forty Seven Thousand Two Hundred and Forty only). The terms of the settlement agreement were read over and explained to both parties in the presence of their counsel and both parties submitted that the same were correct. Accordingly, the said settlement agreement is recorded.

3. In view of the above, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of as per the terms of the Settlement Agreement. The Settlement Agreement shall form part of the decree. No costs. Consequently, the connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
