Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant separate patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the lands in Door No. 8/44 in patta No.96 S.No.150/3 to an extent of 000.77 cents in Kompadi Village, Savarimangalam, Otapidaram Taluk, Thoothukudi District on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 19.02.2019 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of patta in respect of the subject property. In this regard, the petitioner has given an representation dated 19.02.2019.

3.The respondent shall consider and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not pronounced anything on the merits of the matter. The respondent shall put all the interested parties on notice. It is open to the respondent to pass orders one way or the other. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
