ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to speedily dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 17.09.2016 against the order passed by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.V2/1006/2016, dated 30.08.2016.

2.Heard both sides. By Consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that his appeal dated 17.09.2016, which was filed against the order dated 30.08.2016 passed by the 2nd respondent, whereby, the petitioner was dismissed from service, is pending consideration before the 1st respondent and hence the petitioner has approached this Court, for appropriate orders.

4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the appeal filed by the petitioner would be disposed of by the 1st respondent, on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal filed on 17.09.2016, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
