This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.56 of 2021 from the file of the third respondent Police to CBCID/4th respondent for further investigation and to file a final report before the concerned Court. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner gave a complaint before the third respondent. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has filed a private complaint under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Uthamapalayam, in Crl.M.P.No.6962 of 2021 and the same was forwarded to the third respondent to register a case and to file a final report. Till now, the third respondent police has not taken any action to file a final report. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that as per the direction given by the Judicial Magistrate Court, Uthamapalayam, the third respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.56 of 2022, for the offence under Section 379 of IPC and it is under enquiry.

4.Recording the same, the third respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
