2. It is the case of the petitioners that the second petitioner- Kanimozhi has filed a suit in O.S.No.46 of 2011 before

the District Munsif Court, Pudukkottai, for partition against the third respondent Senthilkumar and that the suit is ripe for trial. At this juncture, the respondents 3 to 8 are frequently threatening the petitioners and are evading them from prosecuting the suit. In this connection, the petitioners have given a complaint dated 13.12.2016, based on which, a petition enquiry in C.S.R.No.163 of 2016 was conducted, in which, both the parties were called by the respondent police and they have been warned.

3. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent police to ensure that the petitioners are not unnecessarily threatened by the respondents 3 to 8. If any cognizable offence is committed by the respondents 3 to 8, it is needless to state that the police shall take appropriate action against them in accordance with law.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
