O R D E R

Heard Mr.A.Nawazkhan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The petitioners filed the writ petition directing the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioners with effect from retrospective from 01.07.1998. It is admitted that the petitioners have been regularized in their service in the year 2007, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

but, would seek for retrospective regularization by placing reliance on the order of regularization passed in the case of one Rajendran on 31.07.1995.

3. As rightly pointed out by the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner has approached this Court with an inordinate delay.

4. However, considering the fact that if the representations of the petitioners are found acceptable, they may get monetary benefits, this Court, without expressing any merit on the claim made by the petitioners, would direct the second respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 23.01.2018 and pass orders on merits within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
