This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to approve the promotion of the petitioner as P.G.Assistant (History) from the date of promotion i.e., with effect from 01.09.2021 with salary and other monetary benefits by considering the proposal dated 16.11.2021.

2.When the matter is taken for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner's request has already been considered by the second respondent and proposal has also been sent to the first respondent for approval. However, he would submit that one month time is required to approve the promotion of the petitioner as recommended by the second respondent.

W.P.(MD).No.5812 of 2022 3.In view of the above submissions, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the recommendation of the second respondent and to approve the promotion of the petitioner, in accordance with law, on or before 30.04.2022. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
