ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.03.2019 and pass suitable orders in the light of GO.Ms.No.175 School Education (M2) Department, dated 19.07.2007 to appoint the petitioner in the forthcoming vacancy of B.T. or P.G.Assistant by promotion at the ratio of 2% in their department. 2.Heard both sides. By Consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he being a Junior Assistant under the respondents Department, requesting to appoint the petitioner as B.T. Assistant or PG Assistant by promotion, in the light of GO.Ms.No.175 School Education (M2) Department, dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
19.07.2007, made a representation dated 18.03.2019 to the respondents. So far the said representation has not been considered by the respondents and hence, he has approached this Court. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the respondents in the light of the said Government Order, on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.03.2019, on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of GO.Ms.No.175 School Education (M2) Department, dated 19.07.2007 and pass appropriate orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.The writ petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
