O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct Aadal Padal cultural program on 02.05.2018 from 07.00 p.m. to 12.00 p.m. during the temple festival of Sri Jothi Kaliamman, Sri Muthu Mariamman, Sri Ellaikaruppasamy Temple, Vadakkadu Village, Oddanchatram Taluk, Dindigul District and for usage of mike set.

2.Heard Mr.D.Venkatesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is made clear that the "Aadal Padal" programme shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
