O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai to expeditiously complete the trial in CC No.1480 of 2023 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai.

2.According to the petitioner, she is the defacto complainant in this case and based on her complaint, the FIR in Crime No.35 of 2018 has been registered for the offence under Sections 419, 420, 465, 468, 471 and 120B of IPC. The FIR was registered on 06.12.2018 and the final report has been taken on file in the year 2023. However, so far trial has not been commenced in this case. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the case is pending for framing of charges and the respondent police will co-operate for speedy disposal by producing the witnesses as directed by the trial Court. 4.Heard both sides and perused the records.

5.Considering that the case is pending from the year 2018 without any progress in trial, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, is directed to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No.1480 of 2023 as early as possible without granting long adjournments beyond fifteen days.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
