This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.75/2016 on the file of the respondent and file final report within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that on completing the investigation, charge sheet has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Aruppukottai, on 18.02.2016 and the same has not been taken on file.
