2.Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4005 of 2024 had been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Cr.No.15 of 2024 on the file of the first Respondent Police. 3.Mr.G.Sailendrababu, learned Counsel [Enrl.No.2820/2019/Mob.No. 9095878781], who filed vakalat on behalf of the Petitioner in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.3982 of 2024 and the second Respondent in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4005 of 2024, Mr.M.Veeranthiran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing on behalf of the first Respondent in both cases and Mr.S.Vishnuvardan, learned Counsel (Enrl.No.2796/2019/Mob.No. 8148557057], who filed vakalat on behalf of the Petitioner in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.4005 of 2024 and the second Respondent in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3982 of 2024, in both cases are present in Court.
4.The learned Counsel for the Petitioners in both cases submitted that the Petitioners are arraigned as Accused in Cr.Nos.15 and 16 of 2024 pending on the file of the first Respondent, respectively. During the course of investigation, the Accused and the de-facto Complainant in both cases had arrived at an amicable settlement. A joint compromise memo had also been filed before this Court by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Counsel for the second Respondent/de-facto Complainant. 3/6
5.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), on instructions from the first Respondent, submitted that the compromise arrived at between the parties is bona fide.
6.The first Respondent had also filed a status report, in which, it is stated that during the pendency of the investigation, the accused and the defacto Complainant had arrived at an amicable settlement and they are also identified with their Aadhar card.
7.In the light of the status report filed by the first Respondent, the joint compromise memos filed by the parties concerned are recorded. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petitions are allowed. The FIR in Cr.No.15 of 2024 pending on the file of the first Respondent is quashed. The FIR in Cr.No.16 of 2022 pending on the file of the first Respondent is quashed.
