PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 1st respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the 1st respondent to provide 1/4

adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner purchased the property in door No.420 situated at Jewellery Bazar Street, Thiruchuli Road, Aruppukkottai, from one M.Maniram and he was having some issue with the second respondent herein who was working as Mason under the vendor. After purchasing the property, the petitioner wanted to enter into the property and at that time the second respondent made trouble by closing the shop, over which the petitioner made a representation.

In the above said enquiry, the second respondent appeared and gave a statement to the effect that with regard to the issue over the contractual problem, they will engage an Engineer and made a estimation and depending upon the estimation, they will settle the issue. On the basis of the above said understanding, the representation given by the petitioner itself was closed.

4. Since it appears that the issue between vendor of the petitioner and the second respondent, this petitioner is no way involved in the above said issue. The question of life threat to the petitioner may not arise in these circumstances. If any trouble is created by the second respondent, the petitioner can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

5. With the above said liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
