O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.SUNDAR, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by one N.Anbalagan with a prayer for production of her daughter, Divya (hereinafter referred to as 'detenue' for the sake of convenience and clarity).

2. It is the case of the petitioner that on 22.04.2018, the detenue went to college for attending convocation function and after the function, she did not return home.

3. A complaint was lodged with the jurisdictional police on 23.04.2018 vide C.S.R.No.59 of 2018. Alleging inaction, the instant Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Today, the detenue has been secured and produced in Court.

5. Bench had a brief interaction with the detenue as well as the petitioner.

6. We are informed that date of birth of the detenue is 28.06.1997.

7. Therefore, as of today, the detenue is a major.

8. During our brief interaction, it became clear that the detenue is not willing to go with her parents to her parental home.

9. Detenue is pursuing Masters in Commerce (M.Com.,) and detenue is confident of pursuing a good career for herself.

10. Under the aforesaid circumstances, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition.
