Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to correct the name as Devadas instead of Devaraj and the date of death as 15.12.2010 Instead of 15.12.2018 in the legal heir certificate issued by the 3rd respondent in Pa.Mu.No.8249/2018/(Aa4) by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 29.10.2024.

ORDER

Both Mr.R.Maheswaran, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.G.Suryananth, learned Additional Government Pleader, state that the legal heirship certificate has been issued in the name of Devadas, instead of Devaraj, and that the error in the legal heirship certificate has been corrected and a fresh certificate has been issued to the petitioner.

2. Hence, no further orders are necessary in this Writ Petition, which is, accordingly, closed. No costs.
