PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to pass an order direction directing to expedite the trial pending before the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam, Tirunelveli district in C.C No. 132 of 2020 within stipulated period specified by this court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to expedite the trial pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam, Tirunelveli district in C.C No. 132 of 2020 within stipulated period specified by this court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending trial without any progress.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that some of the witnesses have been examined in this case. 4.Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam, Tirunelveli district to dispose the case pending in CC No. 132 of 2020 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings. Further the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on all hearing dates without fail and co-operate for trial. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
