PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take suitable action against the respondents 5 to 8 not to excommunicate the petitioner from the Theerthankundram, Rajasingamangalam Taluk, Ramanathapuram District either by preventing the petitioner from participating in Kumbabhishegam activities dated 05.04.2023 of Arulmigu Mariyamman temple and preventing the petitioner from worshipping the said temple, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2023, within a time stipulated by this Court.

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take suitable action against the respondents 5 to 8 not to excommunicate the petitioner from the Theerthankundram, Rajasingamangalam Taluk, Ramanathapuram District either by preventing the petitioner from participating in Kumbabhishegam activities dated 05.04.2023 of 2/6
Arulmigu Mariyamman temple and preventing the petitioner from worshipping the said temple, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2023, within a time stipulated by this Court. 2.Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 2 and 4. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 2 and 4 submitted that a Peace Committee Meeting scheduled to be held on 17.03.2023 at about 11.30 a.m for making compromise to conduct smooth celebration of Kumbabishekam. He further submitted that there is no excommunication as against this petitioner.
4. The parties are directed to participate the Peace Committee Meeting scheduled to be held on 17.03.2023.

5. Depending upon the out come of the resolution to be adopted in the Peace Committee Meeting, further action has been taken either by the concerned parties or by the concerned authorities. The entire process will be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
