ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 26.02.2014 and 04.03.2019 and transfer the petitioner from Thanjavur Medical College Hospital to the Rajaji Hospital Madurai.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that she is working at Thanjavur from the year 2012 onwards, whereas her native is Madurai and her family is residing there. She is finding very difficult to maintain her family. Hence, the petitioner made representations dated 26.02.2014 and 04.03.2019 to the respondents seeking transfer from Thanjavur Medical College Hospital to Rajaji Hospital, Madurai. However, the same have not been considered so far. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the nature of the relief sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 26.02.2014 and 04.03.2019 seeking transfer and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
