This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner on 05.03.2025 under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) praying to grant pre-arrest bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.S.S.Manoj, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent-police, submits that the respondent-police registered a case against the petitioner in Crime No.29 of 2025 for the offences under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 126(2) and 351(3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, which are bailable in nature. Hence, this petition is not maintainable under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2025.
