O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second and fourth respondents to survey and fix the boundary of the landed property in S.F.No.87/1 to an extent of 0.39.50 Hec located at Uthupatti Village, Vembakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District belongs to the petitioner by virtue of Partition deed dated 10.11.2020 in Document No. 29/2020 registered before the Sub-Registrar, Sattur, Virudhunagar District based on the petitioner's application dated 16.05.2025 in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner seeks the indulgence of this Court to direct respondents to conduct a survey and demarcate the boundaries of the aforementioned property, as requested in his application dated 16.05.2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite submitting the application on 16.05.2025, no action has been taken by the authorities. Aggrieved by this inaction, the petitioner has filed the 2/5

present writ petition.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents submits that the petitioner's application will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second and fourth respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.05.2025 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders in compliance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the same shall be agitated before the competent civil court. There shall be no order as to costs.
