Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to grant patta for the petitioner house site situated in Survey No.49/2A Rajakampeeeram, Othakadai village, Madurai based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2019 and in light of patta granted to other residents in the same survey number. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's request for issuance of patta in respect of the petition mentioned survey number cannot be granted. This Court directs the second respondent to intimate the writ petitioner about the decision taken by the second respondent so that the petitioner can question the same in the manner known to law. 2.Granting liberty to the writ petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
