ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the Judicial Magistrate, 1/4

Vilathikulam to expedite the trial of the case in C.C. No.7 of 2013, to dispose the case within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. The offence is of the year 2010. The case was filed in 2013 by filing the Final Report. Now grievance of the petitioner is that so far the above said trial process has not been completed. The petitioner being the third accused facing the above said charges for more than 10 years.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that P.W.1 and P.W.2 have been examined in chief and no cross examination has been made by the petitioner. Some of the accused has not cross examined the above said witnesses and the case is posted for further examination on 16.03.2023.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the trial Court is directed to complete the above said trial process within six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
