ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the father of one P.Suganya, aged 21 years. Her date of birth is 13.07.1994, as borne out of the records. According to the petitioner, she has been abducted by the 2nd respondent and she has been illegally detained. Therefore, he has come up with the petition seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to produce his daughter, namely, P.Suganya.

2. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up, the first respondent has produced P.Suganya, the detenue herein. On enquiries, she would state that she has not been illegally detained. According to her, she went along with the 2nd respondent on her own and has married him at Gangaperanpattu and has been living now happily as husband and wife. In view of the same, no direction could be passed in this matter as prayed for. The detenue is set at liberty and she is free to go on her own accord.
