RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition imposed by this Honble Court in Crl OP(MD) No.3161/2024 in Crime No.100/2024 pending on the file of the Respondent Police and permit the petitioner to appear before the City Police Station Hosur and thus render justice. Order : This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s.S.PRABHA, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.P.KOTTAICHAMY, Government Advocate(crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.2288 of 2024 vide order dated 15.02.2024. 1/4

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is unable to appear before the respondent Police, since he has been implicated in another case pending before Naducaveri Police Station. He further submits that while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner, a condition has been imposed by this Court on the petitioner that he shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) in the name of President, Narasingam Panchayat [Account No:10111536134, MICR Code:625002008, CIF No:80080760562, IFSC Code:SBIN0002246, Othakadai Branch, Madurai (2246)]. However, when the petitioner went to the Bank to deposit the amount, he was informed that the bank account number of Narasingam Panchayat was closed. Hence, the petitioner could not furnish the sureties.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition No.6(d) imposed on the petitioner vide order dated 15.02.2024 in Crl.O.P(MD).No.2288 of 2024 is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the Inspector of Police, Thirukattupalli Police Station, Thanjavur District, daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. The petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.1,00,000/-(Rupees One Lakh only) to the name of Narasingam Village Panchayat-225262 [Account No.7387086170; MICR Code: 600019053 CIF No: 03262384860, IFSC Code: IDBI000S004, Indian Bank, Saidapet Branch, Chennai] without prejudice to his 2/4
defence before the trial Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner shall stand automatically vacated.
