This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give adequate police protection to petitioner and his family members life and limb based on the representation dated 27.02.2024.

2.According to the petitioner, he lodged a complaint against one Kalidoss and others, who caused disturbance to the petitioner's possession of the property, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that since a civil dispute is pending between the parties, the petitioner's representation is under enquiry and they will conduct enquiry and dispose of the same, within a period of fifteen days.

4.In view of the above, recording the submission made by the 2/4

learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry upon the petitioner's complaint and dispose of the same within a period of fifteen days, from the date of this order, after affording opportunity to the parties, in accordance with law. 5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is closed.
