PRAYER: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 21.04.2018 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

ORDER

This application is filed seeking for a direction, directing the second respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint, dated 21.04.2018 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 21.04.2018, but sofar, no action has been taken and hence, the petitioner has filed the present Criminal Original Petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents on instructions submitted that the petition enquiry is pending.

4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence is made out, he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the aforesaid observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
