ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for police protection to the petitioner based on his representation dated 13.03.2020. 2.According to the petitioner, he was the root cause for getting orders in the Writ Petition for removing the encroachment. Therefore, he apprehends that there is a danger to him. 3.It is stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State that this Writ Petition was filed in the year 2020, till now, nothing is happened and there is no threat to the petitioner.

4.In such view of the matter, this Court is of the view that no such blanket directions could be issued to give police protection. If at all any threat is made against the petitioner in future, it is well open to him to approach the concerned police and the police officials shall act as per law.
