O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to grant permission for cultural event namely Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 06.05.2018 and 07.05.2018 at about 08.00 pm., to 12.30 pm., in connection with festival of "Arulmighu Sree Vadakkuvach Selviamman Temple" situated at Kaappulingapatti, Kayathar Taluk, Thoothukudi, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2018.

2.Heard Mr.M.Kaushikan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is made clear that the "Adalpadal" programme shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
