O R D E R
This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for removal of the petitioner's name from the history sheet. The history sheet is maintained in terms of the Police Standing Orders and not under the Code of Criminal Procedure and, therefore, the petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is not maintainable, in view of the law laid down in State of Punjab vs. Davinder Pal Singh Bhullar reported in AIR 2012 SC 364. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to file a Writ Petition.
