[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.] The prayer in the Writ Petition is to direct the third respondent to grant 28 days ordinary leave without police escort to the petitioner's father Ramesh @ Gundu Ramesh, S/o. Muthukrishnan, aged about 54 years, convict Prisoner No.17147 (PID No.36356) confined at Central Prison, Tiruchirapalli- 620 020 forthwith considering the representation dated 07.02.2026
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to dispose the representation dated 07.02.2026 submitted by the petitioner seeking 28 days ordinary leave without police escort to the petitioner's father Ramesh @ Gundu Ramesh, S/o. Muthukrishnan, aged about 54 years and pass orders on own merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
