Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents to grant police protection to the petitioner and his property on the basis of complaint dated 21.07.2016 and also necessary protection for survey the petitioner's land in Survey Nos.225/3 and 225/4, at Aandang Kovil Melpagam Village, Manmangalam Taluk, Karur District, to the extent of one acre and 68 cents.

ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the respondents to grant police protection to the petitioner and his property, and also necessary protection for surveying his land in Survey Nos.225/3 and 225/4, at Aandang Kovil Melpagam Village, Manmangalam Taluk, Karur District, on the basis of his complaint dated 21.07.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. By consent, the Criminal Original Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner has given a statement before the respondents that he would seek police https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

protection depending upon the result of the suit filed by him before the learned Principal District Munsif, Karur, in O.S.No.115 of 2010 and that based on the said statement, the complaint has been closed.

4.In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, no further adjudication is necessary in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
