Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus calling for the entire records pertaining to the impugned detention order passed by the second respondent made in his proceedings in T.N.P.D.A.B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.06/Goonda/2020, dated 04.03.2020 in detaining the detenue under Section 2(f) of the Tamilnadu Act 14 of 1982 as a Goonda and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue namely Mohan @ Mohanraj, S/o.Kalimuthan, Male, aged about 21 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Madurai, before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed in T.N.P.D.A.B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.06/Goonda/2020, dated 04.03.2020 by the second respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the Government itself has revoked the order of detention by the order in G.O.Rt.No.1887, Home, Prohibition & Excise (IX) Department, dated 23.04.2020. He has also produced the copy of the said Government Order.

3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as no further order is necessary.
