Respondents PRAYER: Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent by considering the representation of the petitioner's dated 15.03.2019 and on that basis to cancel the settlement deed executed by the petitioner in favour of the respondents 4 to 7 in document No.1624/2014 dated 15.04.2014 (Sub -Registrar Office, Cumbum, Theni District) invoking the provision of Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007 and to give necessary protection for the life of the petitioner. ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the second respondent would conclude the petition mentioned enquiry under Section 23 of The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007 within a period of twelve weeks. The second respondent shall put all the interested persons on notice before passing final orders.
