Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner has retired from the police department. He has submitted a representation dated 17.11.2021 seeking removal of pay anomaly. It appears that the second respondent has already sent a proposal.

3. The first respondent is directed to consider the petition mentioned representation and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of sixteen weeks. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the first respondent to pass an appropriate order.
