ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner / accused, who was arrested on 02.02.2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 392, 397 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.102 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 30.01.2017 when the de facto complainant along with her husband were standing at Kulithalai Bus stand, a woman snatched 41⁄2 sovereigns of gold chain of the de facto complainant and when the public tried to caught hold the accused, she threatened the public by showing knife. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner has involved in series of chain snatching cases and in the present case also, she has snatched 41⁄4 sovereigns of gold chain from the de facto complainant and only 3 grams were recovered. Further her associate namely, A2 is still absconding. Unless he is secured, the stolen property cannot be recovered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the bad antecedent of this petitioner, who has committed similar type of crime, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
