ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary action on the petitioner's complaint, dated 21.02.2025 against the respondents 3 and 4 under the criminal law by conducting an effecting investigation as expeditiously as possible within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner lodged a complaint against the private respondents in respect of execution of settlement by the family members and the assault made by them and thereafter, the petitioner sent a complaint, dated 21.02.2025 but the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition. 2/5

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that the petitioner lodged a complaint against the family members and the same is under enquiry. They will complete the enquiry within a week.

4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition this Court without even issuing notice to the respondents 3 and 4 inclined to dispose this petition.

5. The prayer of the petitioner is to take necessary action on the complaint of the petitioner, dated 21.02.2025 and the second respondent also admitted the receipt of the complaint and the same is under enquiry with him. Therefore, recording the above said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the enquiry, within a period of one (1) week from the date of this order in accordance with law.
